Metal hoses

welding in the production of metal hoses

Our Production Competences : Welding

“TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas)”

This type of welding, also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), is used for precision and quality welds. We use it especially for welding thin metal hoses or delicate sections where a fine touch is required

“MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas)”

MIG or Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) is known for its speed and efficiency. We use it extensively in the metal hose industry for joining thicker sections of metal where aesthetic appearance is less critical.

“Resistance Welding”

This type of welding uses the material’s resistance to electric current to generate heat, which melts the metal and causes it to fuse. We generally use fittings to join hoses when the use of open flame is not suitable for traditional welding methods.

“Laser welding”

We use laser welding, which offers high precision and speed, because of its ability to produce strong, reliable welding, especially in metal hoses used in high-pressure applications.

“Soldering”

Although not welding in the traditional sense, these methods use filler metal to join two parts without melting the parent materials. We often use it to attach fittings to metal hoses in applications where operating temperatures are relatively low.

“Orbital Welding”

Orbital welding is a special type of welding that is particularly applicable in the production of metal hoses, which require high-quality, consistent welds, often around cylindrical objects. And it is the type of source we use a lot.
